Our chairs are more comfortable because they are made of cold cured molded high resilient foam. High resilient foam (HR foam) is the highest quality polyurethane foam available. Because HR foam is the most resilient foam, it supports your back better and lasts longer than conventional polyurethane foam.
Naturally we wanted a mattress that offered the same HR foam benefits found in our Scandinavian Recliners. One of the most common mattress complaints by consumers is that depressions develop in their mattresses making them feel like they are sleeping in a deep valley. Worse yet conventional polyurethane foam can quickly lose as much as 20% firmness early in its life cycle, so the mattress you may have felt was so comfortable when you laid down on it in the mattress showroom may, a year later feel 20% less supportive causing your spine to misalign, which leads to tossing and turning.

latex beds from natural rubber
Our search for the most comfortable mattress lead to natural rubber. Natural rubber; the most durable, elastic material available. A natural rubber foam core is ideal for mattresses; flexible yet stable, it is absorbent, resilient and provides excellent heat and moisture regulation, as well as, air circulation. natural rubber is a renewable resource. It is the milk or sap tapped from the Hevea Brasiliensis, commonly known as the rubber tree. Best of all natural latex rubber is time tested, invented in 1929, and still the most resilient mattress foam available today.
Organic Wool
All of our organic latex mattresses feature latex foam topped with wool. Wool offers you many sleep benefits not available with mattresses using synthetic fabrics:
Wool is Naturally Flame Resistant - A Natura mattress with wool is naturally fire resistant. Mattresses with synthetic padding must be treated with fire retarding chemicals.

Wool Reduces Allergies - Natura Smart Wool is perfect for allergy sufferers. Bedroom allergens are the major cause of morning stuffiness, puffy eyes and grogginess. Because wool naturally reduces the moisture level in the mattress, and it naturally contains lanolin it does not support the presence of molds, mildew and dust mites, allergens that can rob the body of a good night's sleep.
Wool controls your body temperature - Acting as a natural thermostat for your body, Wool works to control temperature and humidity throughout the night. Our body regulates its temperature through perspiration. While sleeping our body releases approximately one once of perspiration every hour. A mattress using synthetic padding traps moisture around your body causing increased humidity and temperature. Temperature imbalance can cause excess moisture buildup, rapid heart rate, increased tossing and turning, and waking up feeling clammy and sluggish. Wool actively manages body temperature by transporting excess body heat and humidity away from the body before it has a chance to build up and disrupt sleep. Wool can absorb up to 30% of its own weight in water vapor, compared to 1% to 2% for synthetic fibers.

We have separated this mattress into 3 layers; a bottom 4" support system, a 4" center comfort system, and on top Sleepteks ultra soft 2" Dunlop natural rubber. The bottom layer can be ordered in medium or firm, then you choose the middle layer, which can be soft medium or firm, and the top layer is always soft. The Euro 4.0 offers you the flexibility in creating your own custom comfort mattress, from ultra soft to firm support. The layering system also allows you to switch layers on Queen and King mattresses from side to side to optimize comfort for individual sleeper preferences. If you like the feel and comfort of a natural latex rubber mattress, but are on a limited budget, the Valeo Anew 5 might present you with a less expensive alternative. The Anew 5, of the Valeo Collection, combines several layers of high-reslient eco foams to simulate the feel of a natural latex mattress. The Eco foams are produced in the United States using plant based substitute for 30% of the petroleum products used to make polyurethane foam. Eco Foam meets or exceeds the "Green Process Product Standards". This means Eco foam is screened through and surpass alll three standards of Sustainable Products, Clean air production, and earth friendly practices. It is processed in a a zero emissions chamber using fewer chemicals and less energy in the refining process. The Eco foam is open cell foam, besides making your mattress sleep cooler, this open cell structure creates a comfort layer that gently floats your body over a larger surface area so you never get too much pressure under any area and does not just compress under your weight.
